CD Engineering Services, serving as the designated electrical subcontractor, was responsible with the design for the Grade D fire detection and fire alarm systems within each apartment.
Our role included rectifying the consultant-generated RIBA Stage 3 design to a fully compliant RIBA Stage 4 design. This process encompassed thorough coordination within each apartment type, leading to the development of detailed design drawings, schematics, and a comprehensive technical submittal encapsulated in our System Overview document.
The objective was to secure approval from all relevant parties. Subsequently, each dwelling received full certification for design compliance with BS 5839-6.
