The client had concerns relating to the compliance of the maintenance of the wireless fire detection & fire alarm and voice alarm systems.
The maintenance contractor and the end of the maintenance contract had produced reports making strong recommendation for full system replacement.
The client appointed Rely on Fire Check to provide independent validation of the routine inspection & servicing carried out by the maintenance contractor going back over the 4 year contract period as being compliant with the specified requirements, British Standards and industry codes of practice.
This appointment involved validation for the need for system replacement as reported by the maintenance contractor and if the faults present on the system were a direct result of incorrect undertaking of routine inspection & testing and corrective maintenance work.
A detailed report including observations and recommendations along with ongoing support by means of professional representation, were provided by Rely on Fire Check until a satisfactory resolve was reached.
