Residential
Tolent previously operated across several construction sectors and has also provided civil engineering and property development work.
Appointed by Tolent, Rely on Fire Check played a pivotal role in the creation of a cutting-edge fire detection and alarm system tailored specifically for a children's home, nestled within a broader, expansive social housing development. Our system design adhered to the unique and diverse needs of the home's residents.
Recognising the importance of inclusivity, our team engaged in extensive collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring that every aspect of our design was considerate of the varied requirements of those living within the facility. In particular, we demonstrated foresight by addressing the potential sensory sensitivities of the occupants, ensuring that our design could seamlessly accommodate any specific needs in this regard.
The comprehensive output of our design efforts included detailed design drawings, schematics, zone plans, detector selection tables, and a performance specification. This thorough documentation empowered our client to initiate a competitive tender process for the supply, installation, and commissioning of the fire detection and alarm system for this noteworthy project.
This assignment marked the initiation of a more standardised approach to electrotechnical fire safety system design, with Rely on Fire Check poised to serve as a strategic partner in subsequent ventures. Unfortunately, the promising trajectory of this procedural evolution was abruptly halted by the unforeseen cessation of trading by the Tolent business.
