Course Information

On this course, delegates will be introduced to the Principles of Mains Power Supplies complying to the various codes of practice within the BS 5839 suite, BS 8629, BS 7273-1 and BS 7273-4. This course provides an understanding of the exacting requirements for mains power supplies for fire detection & fire alarm systems, voice alarm systems, and emergency voice communication systems (disabled refuge systems), evacuation alert systems, fire extinguishing release control and indicating equipment, and power supplies to interfaces releasing critical category A door release mechanisms.
